U2’s London Concert Draw Closes October 29, Ahead of a November Album Preview
U2 have a London date next week, with a few places in the audience still to be decided. The band will record a concert in central London on November 3, playing older songs alongside tracks from Carnaval De Luz. A random draw for tickets closes at 11.59pm on Thursday, October 29.

The performance comes ten days before the album’s November 13 release. That makes the London recording an early encounter with some of the new songs, rather than a show happening after listeners have had weeks with the complete record. The announcement does not promise the album in full or publish a setlist.
U2’s official album page describes Carnaval De Luz as twelve new songs and their first studio album in nine years. The London appearance offers a smaller setting before the Latin American stadium dates announced for 2027. Those tour plans and this audience draw are separate routes to seeing the band; a stadium ticket is not a ticket to the recording.
Does applying sooner improve your chances?
The organiser describes a random draw, with eligible requests entered once applications close. It is not advertised as a queue in which the first applicants buy the available seats. You can request a maximum of one pair of tickets before the deadline. Duplicate applications will be disregarded, so submitting extra requests is not a useful way to increase your chances.
Successful applicants will be notified by text message and sent e-tickets by email. Unsuccessful applicants remain on a waiting list in case of cancellations. An application by itself is therefore not confirmation of a place. That is worth remembering before making travel arrangements around an event with only a small number of audience tickets.
What will ticket holders need on the day?
The central London venue will be revealed to ticket holders on the day of the performance. The address has not been made public, so there is no confirmed venue for everyone else to head to. The audience instructions require original approved photo ID, and tickets cannot be transferred to another person or date.
The named applicant must attend with their guest, and the ticket name must match their ID. Additional guests aged eighteen and over also need photo ID from the organiser’s approved list. The published rules say copies and expired documents will not be accepted. These are admission requirements, not merely details to sort out after arriving.
November 3 is the date the audience will see U2 play. Everyone watching at home will have a longer wait: BBC Two plans to show the concert in late November, during a night of programmes devoted to the band. The audience page has not supplied an exact transmission date. Put the recording and the broadcast in separate parts of the diary; they are two different events.
