MxPx have a new song out today, Panic Attack, with an official video and an album date to go with it. Living in the Chaos arrives on January 29, 2027. At the foot of the thirteen-track announcement are two titles that vinyl and CD buyers will get as extras.

They are Once In A Lifetimes and Nervous Energy, listed at numbers twelve and thirteen. Both carry the vinyl/CD-exclusive label. That gives the format choice a musical consequence: someone wanting every recording named in the announcement needs to pay attention to those final two entries.

SequenceWhat is listed
Tracks 1–11The Good Days through Watching the Sun Come Up
Tracks 12–13Once In A Lifetimes and Nervous Energy, exclusive to vinyl/CD

Panic Attack is third in the running order, after The Good Days and Mind Control. Further down come No Kings, Complaint Department and Don't Say Goodbye To Me. The eleven-track portion finishes with Never Apologize followed by Watching the Sun Come Up; the two physical additions come after that ending.

This is a useful place to separate a change of pressing from a change of programme. Buying a different vinyl colour does not by itself add a song. Here, the extra content is attached to the physical formats in the published list. Neither of the two additions is labelled a live take, demo or remix, so there is no basis yet for putting them into one of those categories.

The band describes this as its twelfth studio album and says it is releasing the record itself. Its own account traces MxPx back to 1992 in Bremerton, Washington, through major-label and independent years to its present self-directed operation. More than three decades in, the band's website is still the place where the new video sits alongside the tour calendar and the record shop.

There is a hundred-day wait between today's single and January 29. In the meantime, the live calendar points to the November 14–15 Warped Tour weekend in Orlando and December's Good Things Festival dates in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. The Orlando dates describe the festival weekend; they should not be mistaken for two confirmed MxPx sets.

Those shows take place before the album is due. Nothing in the announced schedule settles which new songs will enter the set, or whether the physical-only titles will be played. For now, Panic Attack provides the available video and listening link. The remaining album, and the choice between its editions, are still ahead.
