Trivium's next album, Crown in the Grave, is due on November 20. The title song has an official video out now, and the band's store has published a twelve-track running order. It starts with “Jorōgumo” and ends with “Serpents in the Flames.” The title track comes second, followed by “Dead Inside of Me.”

A little over a year separates the album from Struck Dead. That three-song release came out on October 31, 2025, with “Bury Me With My Screams,” “Struck Dead” and “Six Walls.” Its running time is about seventeen minutes. None of those titles appears on the new list. Looking at the two tracklists is a useful way of keeping the releases straight while following the new songs.

There is a longer gap to the previous full-length record. In the Court of the Dragon came out in 2021. Fans have therefore waited five years between studio albums, but they haven't gone five years without something new to play. The three 2025 songs belong in that account too. We'd keep them in view when talking about where this November release fits.

The new tracklist has four times as many titles as Struck Dead: twelve against three. It is too early to turn that into a comparison of playing times, because we don't have all the song lengths. But the difference in scale is there on the page. The two singles leave ten more titles on the list to discover when the record comes out.

The cover gives us something to look at in the meantime. Faces hang above a wooded scene. Around them are shapes that look like flames, while skulls, a gateway and a sword-carrying figure occupy the ground below. Orange, yellow, pink and green stand out against black. My eye goes from the faces to the smaller figure, then to the skulls. The title seems to belong to that place. That is an observation about the painting, though; we can't turn it into a story about the lyrics.

Preorders for physical copies are open. The standard CD page gives November 20 as the shipping date. If you are ordering that edition, allow for the distinction between shipping and arrival: a parcel dispatched on release day may reach you later. The store also says orders containing a preorder item ship together once the items are available.

“Jorōgumo” occupies the first of those positions, ahead of both singles. We know where it goes, but not yet how the transition into the title song will sound. That is one small reason to return to the full running order in November. The cover is here to examine now; the album's pacing needs the rest of the music.
