Ariana Grande's Label Confirms No 2025 Tour Plans

Ariana Grande fans may have to wait longer to see her perform live. On Sunday, December 15, Republic Records officially addressed rumors circulating online about a possible 2025 tour, confirming that no such plans are currently in place. The label's response came via X, formerly Twitter, after a fan account speculated about upcoming concert announcements. Republic Records succinctly explained: "There are no tour plans for next year." However, the record company added that Ariana is still thankful for their fans' unrelenting support and enthusiasm.

Fans Still Hopeful After Eternal Sunshine Hints

The pop star last toured in 2019, wrapping up her successful Sweetener tour. Many fans had been optimistic about her return to the stage, especially after the release of her March 2024 album, Eternal Sunshine. Grande herself had previously teased the idea of a limited concert run to celebrate the album, which only got her loyal followers more excited.

In an interview with Zach Sang in February, Grande shared her thoughts about possibly performing again. "I would love to do shows," she said, hinting that, compared to her other large productions, it would be a little tour. "If anything, it would be a little something. But I do have the itch."

Grande's Busy Schedule in 2024

While that might disappoint fans, the founder of R.E.M. Beauty has been busy this whole year of 2024. Grande has kept very busy promoting the Wicked musical film adaptation that has had everyone talking, in which Grande will play the popular character Glinda. Alongside her, Cynthia Erivo stars as Elphaba—the movie, hyped since its announcement dropped on November 22nd.

In July, Grande gave an update on her touring plans, saying that the juggling act is indeed a challenge. "It's something we are trying to figure out because I have to spread my focus quite thin these days," she said. "But it's something really important to me that I figure out because I love and miss my fans so much."

Fans May Have to Wait a Little Longer

While Ariana Grande has indeed spoken about wanting to perform live again, it seems fans should still keep waiting. Without tour plans in 2025 and how busy she will be going forward, this indicates the star is taking her sweet time to find a balance between her priorities. To the Arianators, though, the hope of her getting back on stage remains high as they continue to follow her work in both music and film.
