Lyrics to Floreana

There was a man

He'd fought a war

He couldn't take the world we love

He swore to me he'd sail away in time

He found a girl who found in him

A love sublime

There was a plan

To live alone

To build a life, a brand new home

They made a world

To live as one in bliss

Could not conceal

Their pursuit of happiness

A promise of paradise

Was too much to lose

An island, a brand new start

Alone together

A life as art

They hid away to be carefree

As strangers came to their shores

They disappeared,

Who knows where? Long ago

Their lives were lost

The truth, we'll never know
