Lyrics to Dancing In the Backyard

She came to me with that look on her face

there's freedom, she says,in changing your ways

I don't believe in staying the same

guess I just don't relate to the things that I say - when

there's

no one there to correct me to put me in place

and there's gonna be a dance in the backyard

come with me, don't be sad

when there's a party going on

come with me, I'll take you

dancing in the backyard

she's the kind of girl that'll mess up your head

there's freedom, she says in being misled

I don't believe in being myself

guess I just don't approve of the choices I make - when

there's

no one there to correct me to put me in place

and there's gonna be a dance in the backyard

Hm...

come with me...
