A Crown
We all know the struggles
And the burdens we face
How in every situation
We find sufficient grace
But we know that these trials
Are not worthy to compare
To the glory that awaits us
In heaven so fair
So I would rather glory
In my infirmities
For Gods strength is made perfect
When I am weak
I may have to face this trial
But I’ll make it by Gods grace
I may not see the victory until
I see Him face to face
When I leave this world and I go home I’ll lay these burdens down
And I will trade the old cross for a crown
To be absent from the body
Is to be present with the King
And though I’m so unworthy
He don’t owe me one thing
He promised when we get there
All sorrows will be gone
And I will join the angels
And sing a happy song
Tears will be wiped away
When Jesus comes again
And peace will rain forever but until then
