Lyrics to Glorious

The night descends – and stars awake to find you standing here

The sky looks down - sees the tears that fill your eyes

Your spirit sighs as silence fills the darkness

The world is still, still as your life

But in this stillness gentle spirits hear your heart cry

You struggle with the pray’r you knew just yesterday

You’ve lost your way, the words are gone, forgotten

But someone speaks for you, And someone says:

Let the angels sing your highest praise

Let their wings surround you all your days

Stand tall and proud

Don’t fear the dark

And know how glorious you are

Your empty hands – shield a weary soul, a weary life

When there is nothing more to give nor left to say

If you are brave then you will hear them whisper

They’ll take your hand, They’ll guide your way

Let the angels sing your highest praise

Let their wings surround you all your days

Stand tall and proud

Don’t fear the dark

And know how glorious you are

No - This life will not surrender

No - These dreams will not bow down

Their light will show

That you are not alone

So let the angels sing your highest praise

Let their wings surround you all your days

Stand tall and proud

Don’t fear the dark

And know how glorious you are

Let the angels sing your highest praise

Let their wings surround you all your days

Stand tall and proud

Don’t fear the dark

And know how glorious you are

Stand tall and proud

Don’t fear the dark

And know how glorious you are
